On a flop of with 40,000 or so already in the pot, Richard Furay moved all in for just under 50,000 in chips and was called by Gary Diamond who tabled for an up and down straight flush draw. Furay turned over the same hand, but in diamonds, meaning the worst case scenario for Diamond was a chopped pot.
The worst for Furay, however, was that a club would fall, giving Diamond a flush and that's exactly what happened when the popped off on the turn.
The river, though irrelevant, was the and Furay was eliminated from the tournament. After the hand, Diamond stacked up just over 300,000 in chips.
