Montgomery Moves To Rail
Scott Montgomery was one of the few players to quickly grind himself a big chip stack, moving to one of the chip leaders for much of the day. That is why it was suprising to look over from the blogging desk and see the chair Montgomery was sitting in empty and the player to his left piling a huge stack of chips.
Apparently it all started when Montgomery ran his into the of the man to his left. By which time Montgomery had lost more than half his stack.
A few hands later and Montgomery would be tangling with the same opponent, this time holding against , Montgomery all-in preflop.
The flop held and a brick, leaving a few extra outs for Montgomery, outs which he quickly lost when the rolled off on the turn. The river would need to be a queen but when it bricked Scott Montgomery would be sent home after around 5 hours of play.
