Final Two Tables Set
It took over 12 hours of play and more than 360 eliminations but finally day one of the Event 6: $1,100 6-Max is in the bag, with the final two tables set!
Due to the rising popularity in short-handed play it is no surprise that this event drew such large numbers and it can be expected that the event will become a staple on schedule.
Joining the field today but falling short of any significant finish included Aussie favorites Grant Levy, Eric Assadourian, Tony Hachem, Stewart Scott and Mel Judah. Some of the internationals who took a shot at an Aussie Millions victory included Peter Jetten, Scott Montgomery, Simon Watt and Steve Yea but they also fell short early in the day.
The money bubble was finally cracked at around midnight, with Ali Ghezeblash the man to take the bubble-boy moniker.
Some honorable mentions must go out to in the money finishers Neil Channing (26th), Luke Santo (21st), James Potter (15th) and 2010 Aussie Millions 6-Max event winner Kristian Lunardi (13th).

Any of the players above could take this tournament down, with each of them already proving themselves terrific short-handed players, out maneuvering the field to make it where they are now.
Tim OShea goes into his table as a dominate chip leader, but with Andrew Hinrichsen and Jackson Zheng on either side of him it will not be easy travelling.
It is Nicholas Owens on his table that has the chip lead, but with the experience of Michael Guttman and Daniel Neilson to get past it will be a hotly contested table.
