The Event #20 players are now on a 30 minute dinner break.
We will pick back up on the live tournament action when play resumes.
Jeff Trudeau and Shawn Cunix were involved in a monster pot on the money bubble. Cunix was eliminated and Trudeau collected his $500 purple chip bounty.
Trudeau is all alone at the top of the chip counts with 625,000 and nearly double the chips of his nearest opponent.
The eliminations have been fast and furious and just 18 players remain. They are now all in the money and guaranteed a minimum of $1,673.

Event #20 of the Borgata Poker Open is the $1,000+$60+$500 Purple Chip Bounty NLH. There were 115 entries creating a prize pool of $111,550.
The final 18 players will all make the money and be guaranteed a minimum of $1,673 for their efforts.
The winner will be taking home $32,907 and the Borgata Poker Open trophy. You can check out the full Event #20 tournament payouts by clicking on the prize pool and payouts tab.
The second post-lim trophy event has been modified since 2018's BPO. Last year, this was a Double Black Chip Bounty. This year, that $200 bounty has been kicked up to $500 (Purple Chip). It is played eight-handed, giving players some room to spread out.
Players get 25,000 tournament chips to start and all levels are 20 minutes long (Semi-Turbo). Late registration and unlimited re-entries are possible until the start of level 11 (at least 6:50pm).
The 18th trophy event of the 2019 BPO gets underway at 3 p.m. This is a one-day event, so theyll play until a winner is determined.
Although slightly different than last year, it's close enough that we'll call James Mackey our defending champion. He won Event 20 last year, besting a field of 118 entrants to collect $33,766 and his first Borgata Open trophy. He's still in the Championship event, so it remains to be seen if he will be available to defend his title.
