2017 Cash Game Festival Tallinn
Day 5 Completed
The 2017 Cash Game Festival Tallinn Fall Edition at Olympic Park has been a huge success with the poker room filled with action and players enjoying themselves on and away from the poker felt.
Many different games were played through the festival including no-limit hold'em, pot-limit Omaha, Sviten Special, open-face pineapple Chinese poker and super dealer's choice where some of the games required players to put cards on their heads.
As is always the case at the Cash Game Festival, the festival featured 10 televised feature tables or two per day. Estonia's Heiti Riisberg won the third-ever Cash Game Festival feature table trophy, which is awarded to the player that wins the most big blinds on a feature table, after winning 3,364 or 1,682 big blinds on a crazy 2/2 no-limit hold'em table on Day 1.
This easily established a new Cash Game Festival record for the most big blinds won at a feature table since the trophy concept was established.
Also doing well while the camera was rolling was Estonia's Rain J?gioja. He was the festival's biggest winner financially on the feature tables after booking a healthy profit of 4,860 or 975 big blinds on a 5/5 pot-limit Omaha table.
Cash Game Festival London trophy winner and Nordicbet player Jon Kyte from Norway won the most on a 5/10 no-limit hold'em feature table on Day 4 after winning 2,350. Meanwhile, Cash Game Festival Dublin trophy winner Kevin Malone from Ireland won the most on a 5/5 pot-limit Omaha feature table on Day 5 after winning the exact same 235 big blinds that Kyte won the day before with a total profit of 1,165.
Both Kyte and Malone were hoping to outperform each other and also become the first-ever two-time trophy winner in what was booked as a battle between Norway and Ireland.
Here is a look at all of the big winners at the 10 feature tables during the 2017 Cash Game Festival Tallinn at Olympic Park Casino:

Many other players won big on side tables as games often ran bigger than the stakes. On Day 3, a 5/5 pot-limit Omaha table where players can straddle from any position had more than 100,000 on the table between all of the players. Almost all of the pots in this game were at least four-digits with many reaching five-digit pots as well.
Of course, the Cash Game Festival is mostly about poker. However, every festival also features great activities away from the tables where players can bond. New friends were made while old friends from previous festivals got a chance to catch up. During the 2017 Cash Game Festival Tallinn, players with the hospitality package enjoyed welcome drinks, painting of nude models, a world-class dinner, a VIP party and a trip to an escape room.
If you were unable to make it out for the final stop of Cash Game Festival's 2017 season at the Olympic Park Casino in Tallinn, rest assured you will not have to wait long to enjoy the next festival as the new season begins very in the year.
The Cash Game Festival will kick off its 2018 season with its fifth visit to Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford City in London on Jan. 3-7, 2018. Festival organizers are planning for epic activities and expect at least a couple of dozen cash game tables running simultaneously.
You can sign-up for the event and the feature table here.
One player who will be going compliments of the house is Norway's Master Soi, who won a random drawing for a package valued at 1,500 to the event.
Although the Cash Game Festival wrapped up its nine-festival 2017 season in Tallinn, Estonia there is much more to come next year. Tge 2018 season begins early with the festival's fifth return to Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford City in London on Jan. 3-7, 2018. Cash Game Festival Project Manager Andro Loos just announced that as many around the poker room expected Heiti Riisberg won the Cash Game Festival Tallinn feature table trophy and a hospitality package to Cash Game Festival London on Jan. 3-7, 2018 valued at 200.
Riisberg not only won the trophy after ran up a huge profit of 3,364 or 1,682 big blinds on a crazy 2/2 no-limit hold'em table on Day 1 but also set a Cash Game Festival record since the trophy concept began at Cash Game Festival London in September.
The final feature table of the festival did not disappoint with the 5/5 pot-limit Omaha game quickly turning big with players straddling it up to 40 on most hands.
Rain J?gioja made the most of his 2 1/2 hour session by booking a huge profit of 4,860 or 972 big blinds. This amount of big blinds would have won him the Cash Game Festival feature table trophy at most festivals as it is the second largest since a trophy has been on the line.
Instead, the trophy will be awarded shortly to Estonia's Heiti Riisberg after he booked a huge profit of 3,364 or 1,682 big blinds on a crazy 2/2 no-limit hold'em table on Day 1.
Players have been playing Sviten Special every day during the festival. Today is no different as a 2/2 game just broke out. Some of the players include Peter La Terra, Andro Loos, Ed Furniss and Scott Andrews.
The final feature table of the 2017 Cash Game Festival Tallinn just kicked with stakes at 5/5 pot-limit Omaha. Cash Game Festival Commentator Andrew "Picasso" Hedley and special guest Ryan "Metalface" Davey are once again the hosts.
You can check out the action on the Cash Game Festival Twitch channel or by clicking on the Live Stream tab in our coverage. Here is a look at the line-up.
Estonia's Rain J?gioja, in Seat 1, is back at his second feature table this festival. He has been playing poker for more than a dozen years and his favorite Omaha hand is one that many players love ace-ace-jack-ten double suited.
Cash Game Festival Dublin trophy winner Kevin Malone, in Seat 2 is back in action after being the big winner on the first feature table of the day. He slightly outperformed Cash Game Festival Dublin winner Jon Kyte in Kyte's strongest game. Malone will see if he can complete the sweep in the game he won his trophy in as Kyte is also on the table in Seat 5.
Finland's Lasse Kekoniemi, in Seat 3, is also hoping for a big win. Along with Malone and Kyte, he is out trying to notch his second feature table big win this festival.
United Kingdom's Jonathan Bowers, in Seat 4, shared before he hopped into the game that he is freerolling his buy-in after winning a bit on a side table before his time under the lights and cameras. We plan to interview Bowers later on Facebook about some of the big games he has played in this festival including one that had around 100,000 spread between the players despite the game being 5/5 pot-limit Omaha.
Finland's Matti Hautanen, in Seat 6, is relatively unknown to the Cash Game Festival. However, Pokeritieto's Juhani Tyrisev? has seen him in many mid-stakes cash games over the years and shared he is a solid player with a winning record.
Armenia's Marat Kasparov, in Seat 7, is also new to the Cash Game Festival and playing at his first televised feature table. His favorite Omaha hand is ace-ace-king-king.
Estonia's Steven Tool, in Seat 8, has been playing poker for a dozen years and loves any hand that incorporates a pair of aces.
