With 14 players to start the day, cards are in the air for Day 1d of the EAPT 560 Main Event.
A player in middle position opened to 600 and received a call from a player in the cutoff before Samuel Tebege, who took fourth-place in the 250 EAPT cup earlier this festival for 3,975, raised to 2,500 from the big blind. The original raiser called while the cutoff got out of the way.
The flop came K?J?4? and Tebege fired a 1,500 continuation bet that was called by his opponent.
Both players then checked both the 9? turn and 2? river. Tebege tabled A?J? and his opponent looked at his cards for about 10 seconds before opting to fold.
"Queen-jack?" Tebege asked his opponent. The middle position player did show the J? in his hand for an inferior second-pair as Tebege took the pot.
