Don't think just because the Main Event has wrapped for the day that the poker room is dead. There are single table Sit 'n Go tournaments getting started left and right ranging in buy-ins anywhere from €500 to €5000, and even a €20,000 buy-in Sit 'n Go was started up. Players included WSOP Main Event Champions Greg Raymer and Joe Hachem, Masaaki Kagawa, Johnny Lodden, William Thorson, Haralabos Voulgaris, Jani Vilmunen, and a few European and Norwegian internet pros including Tore Lagerborg. The players only put up the casino's juice in cash and agreed that the buy-in would be taken care of via internet funds. Champagne and vodka were passed around liberally and the mood was reminicient of a long running home game - well, other than the roughly 60 railbirds that crowded around the table. In the first Sit 'n Go, Greg Raymer was the bubble boy coming in third, while the two least known of the players, presumably internet pros, chopped the €200,000 prize pool once it got heads up and they were nearly even in chips.
Not five minutes after the conclusion, another €20,000 Sit 'n Go was starting with many of the same participants. Kevin O'Donnell and Jimmy 'Gobboboy' Fricke were standing nearby and were rumored to be trying to get into the game for round two.
