Our new office
Today is the final day of Season 6 of the EPT, and it's about to go out with a bang. Le Sporting Club in Monte Carlo is in the midst of a quick and impressive transition back to normalcy. The PokerStars banners are being lowered from the rafters, and hundreds of miles of cables and wires are being rolled up and labeled for summer storage. Gone are the hundreds of poker tables that once occupied the building, leaving just a cavernous, lonely space in their place. It's a bit bittersweet, really.
Ah, but we've still got some business to take care of. Eight players remain in the 25,000 High Roller event, all of them eying up that first prize payday of nearly 1 million. The stacks are deep, and we've got a lot of poker to play today.
Here's how the last table of the year is laid out as the players enter the room:
Seat 1: Dori Yacoub - 1,199,000
Seat 2: Tom Marchese - 909,000
Seat 3: Tobias Reinkemeier - 826,000
Seat 4: Sorel Mizzi - 770,000
Seat 5: Allen Bari - 835,000
Seat 6: Olivier Busquet - 666,000
Seat 7: Paul Berende - 327,000
Seat 8: Michael Friedrich - 112,000
We're scheduled for a noon start time, which is just a few minutes from now. We'll be here to give you all of the action as it unfolds, and you can also watch every hand streaming over on EPT Live.
