Roberts Vaults Up the Chip Counts with Double Elimination

Level 15
: 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Austria's Josip Simunic opened the action from early position for 6,600 only to have Italy's Daniele Guidetti three-bet all in for roughly 40,000 from the small blind. Simunic found himself between a rock and a hard place, and he thought long and hard before calling off. It was a decision he would regret.
Roberts:
Simunic:
Guidetti:
"Nice hand by the way," a resigned Simunic said.
Guidetti was more hopeful calling for an ace, but his request fell on deaf ears as the board ran out a clean . Roberts' kings held and gave him the double knockout.
