Maria Konnikova, on her second shell, was picking up her stuff and wishing everyone good luck when we got to her table. The board was ten-high and an opponent's aces were face up with Konnikova's card already in the muck.
"Less than 20 bigs behind, what can I do?" she asked as she headed for the doors.
A player at the table told us she had flopped top pair with 
defending the big blind and ran into the blades.
