Boghean Busts Petruzzelli in First Hand
Federico Petruzzelli finished second in a flip out tournament to miss out on the Platinum Pass and did so again after finishing runner-up to Guillaume Diaz in the National Championship €1,100 Main Event. Petruzzelli sat down for his first attempt in the Main Event and eventually busted right away in a clash with Andrei Boghean.
As relayed by Philipp Kaempf, there was a raise to 500 and two callers before Boghean three-bet to 3,000 out of the small blind. Only Petruzzelli called and the flop fell . Boghean continued for 3,000 and was called, before running fours brought bets of 8,600 and the shove of Boghean. Petruzzelli called it down with the for straight draw and the inferior full house on the river, bowing out to the pocket kings of Boghean.
"That was the best run out in your life," Kaempf joked when the hand was done and dusted.
