This event was last held back in 2022, with Hannes Jeschka taking home the massive grand prize of $542,000 as he defeated the field of 1,032 entries.

Today marks the first of three starting flights, with players receiving 300,000 chips to start as they battle for their share of the $5,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. Day 1 play will continue for 12 50-minute levels, beginning at 1,000-1,000 with a 1,000 big blind ante. There will be a 15-minute break after every two levels, and a 60-minute dinner break after level 8 (approximately 7:35 p.m.).
One re-entry per flight is allowed, with late registration open until the end of Level 10 (approximatey 10:20p.m.). Those surviving Day 1 will return to play on Friday, May 10th, with a champion being crowned on May 12th.
