Ponakovs Gets a Rebate from Pardo

Juan Pardo opened to 2,500 from the cutoff before Aleksejs Ponakovs made it 7,500 from the button. The blinds got out of the way and Pardo four-bet to 19,000. Ponakovs called.
Pardo continued for 6,000 on the A?J?10? flop and called when Ponakovs raised to 18,000. The 4? turn then checked through to the 5? river.
Pardo, after using a time bank, led out for 10,000 into a pot of 76,500. Ponakovs, with 35,500 behind, raised to 34,500 and left a single chip behind. Pardo quickly called and the cards went on their backs.
Pardo's A?K? was good for top-top but could not beat Ponakovs J?10?, which flopped two pair.
