Day 2 of the �1,100 France Poker Series Main Event, running as part of the 2024 PokerStars European Poker Tour at the Le Palais des Congr��s, is set to get underway today at 12 p.m. local time.
Over a total of six starting flights in the last three days, an impressive 4,149 entries were recorded in this record-breaking tournament generating a prize pool of �3,983,040; up a massive 2,011 entries from the same event last year. Of those, 619 players will return to the felt today to battle it out as all starting flights merge for the first time.
Going into Day 2, the overall chip leader is Alexandre Correia of France who managed to accumulate an impressive 895,000 on Day 1c on Thursday. Correia is the only player to eclipse the 800,000 mark, with his closest competitor being Fabian Niederreiter of Germany who bagged 776,000 on the first flight of the tournament.

The PokerStars Team seemingly put on an impressive display as a total of four Team Pros and Ambassadors will return to battle it out on the felt once more. Namely, Maria Konnikova (210,000), Felix Schneiders (151,000), Ramon Colillas (114,000) and Marle Spragg (180,000).
Players that have progressed to Day 2 will take their seats today, Saturday, February 17, and will play out the remaining 12 minutes of Level 17 with blinds at 3,000/6,000 with a 6,000 big blind ante before moving on to Level 18 with blinds at 4,000/8,000 with an 8,000 big blind ante.
