Runcan Runs Good, Leaves Wood Chopped

Paul Runcan opened from middle position and Philipp Wood three-bet from the button to 72,000. When it got back to Runcan, he put in the four-bet to 180,000, then Wood shoved. Runcan had around 650,000 total and made the call, which left him at risk.
Paul Runcan: Q?Q?
Philipp Wood: A?K?
It was a tale as old as time with two premium hands racing off against each other deep in a poker tournament. The advantage stuck with Runcan after the J?10?5? flop, but Wood did pick up two extra outs with his Broadway draw. Just as quickly as they were gained, those two outs vanished from Wood's radar on the J? turn, which left him with one more shot.
All eyes were locked on the board as the dealer burned and turned over the 2?, giving Runcan the big double-up, and chopping Wood's stack down to around 300,000.
