Action of the Final Day
Gottlieb cruised at the top from the get-go with a solid lead over the rest of the field but it was no straightforward victory for the Mexico-based MTT grinder. He even dropped right into the middle of the pack before a sudden surge propelled Gottlieb into a commanding lead.
Aliaksei Boika was the first to fall when he flopped top pair with king-queen only to run into the pocket aces of "ILUCKuHARD". Andrea Dato scored a double through Gottlieb only to get it in with ace-king against the rockets of Gottlieb, missing out on a gutshot in the process.
Damian Salas was never able to build a stack and eventually three-bet jammed nines into the pocket tens of Pedro Garagnani. An all-diamond flop left Salas with one out and the miracle never happened. Moments later, Christian Rudolph jammed ace-six suited and was drawing dead on the turn as Juan Pardo's ace-queen nailed a full house.
Pardo then surged into the lead but bluffed at the wrong time to send over a full double to Gottlieb. The demise of the Spaniard came a few hands later when he limp-jammed ace-deuce and Garagnani called with ace-jack to leave Pardo drawing dead on the turn.

Gottlieb assumed the top spot with sheer aggression and knocked out Jordan "PiePie" Cristos in fourth place, prevailing with nines versus sevens in a preflop contest. "ILUCKuHARD" then ran an ill-timed bluff with a busted flush and straight draw, which was exposed by Garagnani with a nine-high straight.
Heads-up play started nearly even in chips but Gottlieb quickly pulled into an overwhelming lead. Within 20 minutes, he dismantled Garagnani and closed it out when the Brazilian jammed queen-jack into his aces. And just like that, the final table wrapped up in two hours and 25 minutes to crown yet another champion.
