Well That Was... Exciting.
Michael Wang was in the cutoff and opened the action to 26,000. The player to his immediate left, on the button, made it 57,000 to go. Wang thought for a moment and then counted out a raise to 168,000 and pushed it into the middle. His opponent thought for a moment and then lightly told the dealer that he was all in. The dealer had to ask him to repeat himself and he did so. Wang thought for 15 seconds before pushing a stack of chips into the middle. Both of the players had large stacks and the other players at the table craned their necks to take a peek at the hands that had caused all these chips to be put into the middle.
Wang's opponent turned over . Wang turned over and the table let out a collective laugh and groan. The board ran out dry and both players took their chips back.
