Yunis Loses a Big Chunk
Our intrepid reporter Mickey Doft came sprinting across the Milan Ballroom at the M Resort Casino Spa with his wavy hair elegantly bouncing and his oversized DraftKings hoodie mimicking a boat's sails as it glides across a smooth sea. When he arrived, he dropped off several pieces of paper, the first of which had a hand involving Nick Yunis and Steve Warburton.
According to Doft, the final board read between the two.
"There was about 350,000 already in the pot on the river," Doft said, pointing to the piece of paper. "Then Warburton moved all in for 209,000."
Yunis tanked for a bit and then made the call, but when Warburton tabled the for top pair, top kicker, Yunis couldn't beat it. His cards hit the muck, and Warburton was pushed the chips.
