"Good game, Jeff," Reid told Platt heading to the flop, which came 5?5?Q? as Platt didn't have too much to worry about after flopping a full house. The turn, though, was the K? and Reid picked up outs going to the river but he missed the J? and Platt doubled up.
"I would've seriously considered retiring," Platt said.
"I really wanted to send Jeff into retirement," Reid added as he handed over the pot.
