John Smith Eliminated in 5th Place ($58,000)

Level 11
: 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Alex Keating raised to 6,000 and John Smith moved all in for 9,000 or so. Pat Walsh the reraised to 21,000 back to Keating, who moved all in himself. Walsh, who may have been after Smith's $10,000 bounty, quickly mucked and the cards were turned up:
Smith:
Keating:
Keating was ahead but not when the flop fell . Smith had paired his king to take the lead. The
gave Smith two pair but also gave Keating some straight out. He could retake the lead and eliminate Smith with any ace, queen, or jack. Sure enough, the
spiked on the river and Smith's long day came to an end in fifth place. He had five bounties to his credit, so he'll take home $58,000 for his efforts.
