Ian Matakis opened to 12,000 from the cutoff and was three-bet by Jeff Petronack to 30,000 from the button. Action made its way back to Matakis and he thought for a few moments before four-betting all in for 104,500. Petronack went into the tank for about a half-minute and then let his cards go, resulting in Matakis earning the pot.
Hand #2:
On the following hand, Matakis opened to 12,000 from the hijack and Petronack three-bet him again to 30,000 out of the cutoff. Action folded back to Matakis and he asked for confirmation of the bet size. The dealer nodded and he sent his cards to the muck, ceding the pot to Petronack after taking one from him on the previous hand.

Jeff Petronack was in the small blind and saw action folded to him. He opened to 15,000 and Jon Hanner defended his big blind to take heads-up action to a flop of . Both players checked.
The turn came and Petronack checked again. Hanner threw out a bet of 20,000 and Petronack thought for about 15 seconds before matching it. The river fell .
"All in," said Petronack shortly after seeing the card hit the felt. Hanner immediately sent his cards to the muck and Petronack took down the pot as a result.
Vic Peppe limped in from the hijack and action folded around to Kou Vang, who was in the big blind and announced he was all in. Peppe quickly picked up a stack of chips and set them down in front of him on the felt to call.
Kou Vang:
Vic Peppe:
The board ran out in Peppe's favor, coming to earn him the knockout and send Vou to the rail as the sixth-place finisher.
Jeff Petronack was on the button and opened to 12,000. Kou Vang defended his big blind and the two saw a flop of . Vang checked to Petronack, who put out a continuation-bet of 10,000. Vang thought for a few moments and then let his cards go.
With the pot, Petronack now finds himself at around 130,000, while Vang has become the shortest stack among the six left in the tournament by a decent margin.
Ian Matakis opened to 10,000 from under the gun and action folded around to Joseph Beasy, who called from the small blind. Vic Peppe was in the big blind and defended as well to take action three ways to a flop of . All three players checked.
The turn fell and action checked to Matakis, who put out a bet of 16,000. Beasy called and Peppe folded to take action heads up to the river , where Beasy checked again. Matakis counted his stack and then decided to tap the felt to check behind.
Beasy showed for kings up and Matakis tabled for aces up, good to earn him the pot and bring him over 100,000 in chips at present moment.
There has been a bit of give and take with no major changes to stacks. Vic Peppe has seen three players shove all in over limps or raises of his, while the rest of the field appears to have maintained their stack or built it a bit.
Kou Vang shoved all in from under the gun for 35,000 and action folded around to Jon Hanner in the big blind, who immediately called.
Kou Vang:
Jon Hanner:
Hanner was in disbelief of how far ahead he perceived himself to be versus how far behind he actually was. The flop came to give Vang a bit of a sweat, and the turn gave him even more cards to fade. The river came clean for his aces, however, and he earned the double at Hanner's expense.
