Maron's ace high was good until the flop came down . The turn gave him some more outs with the , but when the river hit the , it was all over. Maron finished in 23rd position, just about doubling his buy in for the event.
Alfred Grech moved all in with his short stack, first in from the cutoff seat. He held and was called down by Steve Goldwater, whose had Grech crushed.
And no help came for the all-in player as the board ran . Steve Goldwater chips up to 50,000, sending Alfred Grech out as the first in-the-money departee.
Nuno Da Silva moved all in from the small blind, pushing out his final 21,900 chips. Next to him and last to act, Michael Palti looked down at and made the call. Da Silva rolled over his and the race was on!

Michael Palti is now soundly in the chip lead, sitting on a stack of 101,700.
With that elimination, the remaining 24 players are all in the money!
The current level just finished up on the clock, but the tournament staff announced that there will be no break for the players. Play will continue until we lose one more player and bust the bubble. The blinds will not increase and once we lose another player, everyone will get a break.
Michael Palti has won the last four hands in a row with a raise or reraise before the flop. He began bubble play with right around 40,000 in chips, but he has used this stage of the tournament to chip his way all the way up into the lead. He sits with 88,000 right now, plenty of ammunition to keep the pressure on his table.
