PokerNews is at the 2019 Potomac Poker Open (PPO) to offer live updates from three tournaments, but those are just a few of the 14 events that played out at MGM National Harbor.
Another was Event #10: $1,125 Heads-Up No-Limit Holdem, which attracted 28 players and was played in a bracket format. Only the final four would get paid, and the two players to bow out in that round were James Liddel and Khoa Luong, the latter having won Event #3: $370 5-Card PLO. Both earned $4,200 for their efforts.
The final was between Ryan Tamanini of Hanover, Pennsylvania and Maxwell Young. The former ultimately prevailed to capture the PPO title and a $12,600 first-place prize.
