The Third Flight of The RGPS Main Event Begins at 11:00 AM


A grand total of 155 entrants came into the building in yesterday’s two flights in the RGPS $600 Main Event out here at Atlantis Casino in Reno Nevada. From that starting field to just 18 who have secured themselves a piece of the prize pool.
Ed Miller (683,000) currently sits nearly lapping the field with his chip stack and will be the stack all of the players are eyeing today. Others that bagged up in yesterday’s flight included WSOP bracelet winner Joseph Mussat (480,000), Dann Turner (322,000), Jordan Cushman (281,000), and Josh Prager (250,000). All of them will be sweating the action to maintain their leaderboard position as the day ticks on.

Some of the players expected to make appearances this flight include Maggie Fox, Jeffrey Day, Bob Mather, Lexy Gavin-Mather, and defending champion Dustin Cavanaugh. Each will be looking to end their day early with a bag here today.
Players will begin with 30,000 in chips with blinds beginning at 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante. The levels will last 30 minutes, with a 15-minute break at the conclusion of every four levels. Registration will close at the beginning of level 9, with play continuing until the field has reached 12.5% rounded down. This flight has unlimited re-entry and those who do not find a bag this flight will have ample opportunity into today’s second flight.
