Welcome to Day 1b of the RunGood Poker Series All Stars Seminole Coconut Creek $600 Main Event
It's time to continue crushing the guarantee here on Day 1b of the RunGood Poker Series All Stars Seminole Coconut Creek $600 Main Event, after yesterday's Day 1a flight beat the $50,000 guarantee twice in a single flight. Day 1b is set to begin at 10 a.m. EST, and registration is now open for the second and final flight of the Main Event.
Yesterday's Day 1a flight saw a total of 205 entrants be whittled down to just 29 by the end of play, with Event #1: $250 Super Stack No Limit Hold'em champ David Albertson lapping the field with a stack of 406,000, nearly double his closest competitor in Walter Bravo, who managed to bag up 236,000. Joel Weisberger (234,000) holds the final podium position, while Michael Tait (121,000) and Mark Hodge (90,000) were among other players to reach Day 2.
Day 1b players will begin with 20,000 in tournament chips, and fourteen 30-minute levels are on tap for today's flight. Blinds begin at 100/100, and unlimited re-entry and late registration are open until after the second break, or approximately 2:30 p.m. EST. Those lucky enough to make it through today's Day 1b flight will join the Day 1a survivors at 11 a.m. EST on Sunday, August 29th to play down to a champion, who will earn a coveted RGPS All Stars Ring and a seat into the RGPS All Stars Pro Am powered by PokerGO in December.
PokerNews will be on hand again for today's flight, providing all the action straight from the tournament floor. Stay tuned as the final flight of the inaugural RGPS East Coast tournament kicks off soon!
