Clive Berman had run up a massive stack over on table 10 and that was dented somewhat when he took on Sean Bloom. Berman opened to 1,700 and received one caller on the button. Bloom three-bet to 7,500 and Berman was the only caller.
After the 10?7?5? flop, Bloom's bet of 4,000 was called before he bet the Q? turn for 16,500. This time, Berman let go.

A new player arrived on table 11 and started playing. Monica Rosie then got it in against them with Q?Q? versus 10?10? and the 9?8?6?2?10? but then some table chat broke out in which it came to light that the player was supposed to be in the Freeroll satellite instead.
He even suggested to pay the ZAR 15,000 entry fee on the spot, but that's obviously not going to happen. Sheldon Grove arrived at the table for his re-entry, where he had been knocked out before, to take Rosie's seemingly vacated seat. It still took a while to figure out everything and Rosie got her chips back while the other player headed to his seat in the satellite.
As for Grove ... he is back on the table where he busted the first time.

Bernard Gossard had entered not long ago but never got anything running over on table 10 to drop to a short stack. He eventually got it in preflop against Dirk Steenkamp and saw his 4?4? dominated by J?J?.
There was no escape on the 9?2?2?A?6? board and Steenkamp scored the knockout.

Panayiotis Giannakopoulos limped in and called a raise to 1,800 by Colin Horgan in the big blind. On the K?J?7? flop, both players checked and Giannakopoulos bet the A? turn for 2,000 to earn a call. He bet again the J? river for 5,000 and Horgan then pulled the trigger with a large raise.
"Set? Giannakopoulos asked and shortly after said "a set of bullshit" before he folded. Horgan grinned and flashed his cards, the K?J? for a full house.
"I only show to get some folds later," Horgan grinned and added "I get very aggro at times".

On the river of a heads-up pot the board showed K?J?10?4?Q? and Howard Lipman checked. Remy Leblanc pushed all-in and Lipman briefly glanced at his phone (no solvers involved, guaranteed) before he let go.
At the same time one table over, Werner Smit was spotted on his way to the rail. He had run the A?K? into Jedd Kossew, who looked him up with the A?A? and recorded another knockout.

Sheldon Grove jammed all-in the very first hand after his re-entry and was up against two opponents, a short stack and Clayton Martin.
Short stack: J?J?
Sheldon Grove: 8?7?
Clayton Martin: A?A?
On the 8?5?2? flop, Grove said "I gonna need an eight or seven here" and received that wish with the 7? turn. A split pot was still possible since none of the trio had a spade in their hand. However, it was the A? that fell on the river for Martin to score a double knockout.

Simon Solomon got his short stack in with the A?K? and had a classic flip against the Q?Q? of Jonathan Hoal.
The board ran out 9?7?4?J?8? and that spelled the end for Solomon.
Soon after, Singh was flipping against Hoal in the following preflop contest.
Sugen Singh: A?K?
Jonathan Hoal: 10?10?
The J?9?5?2?3? board brought no help either and Hoal won the second flip in a row.
