After three Day 1 flights, 98 players have advanced to contend for the 2014 Michigan State Championship and a first prize of $124,500 here at the Mid-States Poker Tour FireKeepers stop.
Leading the way is Jeremy Ehrke, who amassed a huge stack of 360,000 on Day 1b.Nik Stone (290,000) and Michael Griebe (283,000) are close behind, as is Day 1a chip king Alex Barill. Other solid stacks are held by Ryan Austin (230,500), Jean Gaspard (183,000) and Jason Zarlenga (190,000), who is looking to continue his crushing ways, which includes two MSPT wins this year, including the May FireKeepers stop.
Play will resume at 10:00 a.m. sharp with Level 15 (1,500/3,000/500). The top 54 will be paid and play will continue until there is a winner.
