Welcome To Day 1A of the MSPT Venetian Main Event!
Today kicks off the first of two Mid-States Poker Tour Main Events at The Venetian Resort In Las Vegas, Nevada. Day 1a of the $1,600 No-Limit Hold��em Main Event Begins at 11:10 a.m. local time and boasts a hefty $2,000,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Last year��s version of this event saw an impressive field of 1,341 total entries over the course of three starting flights, and it was Lithuanian player and World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner Gediminas Uselis taking down the whole tournament for a career-best score of $325,428.

Many players are expected to come out and battle it out for an MSPT trophy, including former MSPT winners Daniel Sepiol, Kyna England, Blake Bohn, and Bobby Noel. Those who do not bag up today will have another opportunity in the two following flights on Tuesday, June 7th and Wednesday June 8th.
The players will begin with 30,000 in starting chips with blinds beginning at 100/100 with a 100 big blind ante. The blind levels will last 40 minutes each, with 10-minute blinds occurring after every 3 levels. Late registration will close after level 9, where a 60-minute dinner break will follow. The players will play down to 12.5% of the field, or a full 15 levels, whatever comes first.
