Egan Assumes Control

Tom Rafferty defended his big blind against a raise to 16,000 by Michael Egan and they headed to the flop. Rafferty checked and Egan bet 12,000, which Rafferty called.
The followed on the turn and Rafferty checked once more, as did Egan. Rafferty then bet the
river and his chips were barely pushed forward when Egan already sent his cards into the muck.
Sean Ragozzini raised to 16,000 and Egan called from the big blind. On a flop, Egan checked and called a continuation bet worth 13,000 to the
turn. Egan check-called another bet of 32,000 and they checked the
river to see Egan drag in the pot as his cards were only briefly shown.
Ragozzini won a few chips back the next hand and Rafferty then raised to 18,000 first to act. Egan kept his feet on the pedal and three-bet to 55,000 on the button, which Rafferty called.
The flop came and Rafferty checked, folded when facing a bet of 32,000 by Egan.
