Jeremy Palvini Takes Lead in Winamax SISMIX Main Event as Day 1b Concludes
Day 1b of the �500 (5,500 Dirham) Winamax SISMIX Main Event, running at the Casino de Marrakech in the El Saadi Resort, has now concluded.
The second of four starting flights, Day 1b saw a total of 615 entrants, which topped Day 1a to bring the total number of entries to 1,036. Of those who entered the flight, a total of 103 players made it through to Day 2 and into the money.
Jeremy Palvini finished the day as chip leader with 1,130,000 chips. That makes him the overall chip leader, ahead of Day 1a chip lead Javier Tsunamy.
According to Hendon Mob, Palvini has �1,332,735 in recorded live tournament winnings. His most recent victory and biggest career cash came in the 2023 Monte Carlo Deepstack event. He'll be in contention for a huge score once again.
Sebastien Lebaron, who spent a chunk of the latter part of the tournament on the feature table, finished Day 1b in second place with 960,000 chips.
There wasn't much in it when it came to third, fourth and fifth place. In third place for the day was Issam Benhaddou with 890,500 chips. In fourth was Raphael Godard with 854,000 and rounding up the top five was Christian Ly with 825,000 chips.
Ly also happened to be the player responsible for busting Zakaria Htati to burst the bubble of the tournament.

Day 1c and Day 1d are both kicking off tomorrow. Day 1c commences at 12 p.m. local time, while Day 1d starts at 7 p.m. The structure for Day 1c remains the same, with 30-minute blind levels and 50,000 starting stacks. Day 1d is a turbo flight with 15-minute levels.
