A Huge One For Pham
We picked up the action in what turned out to be a massive pot when Kees van Brugge called a raise from the cutoff put in by Tuan Pham in the big blind. After Van Brugge had made the call the player on the button and the small blind folded creating heads-up action.
The flop came down and Pham continued with a bet of 34,000 and Van Brugge put in the call. On the turn the hit and Pham bet 84,500, which was once again called by Van Brugge.
The river was the and Pham bet 100,000 with about 85,000 chips left behind. Van Brugge went into the tank for over seven minutes before Pham ultimately called the clock on him. Van Brugge then folded and was left behind with 240,000 chips.
"Will you ever tell me?" Van Brugge asked his opponent.
"Some day," Pham responded and Van Brugge was left wondering if he made the right decision.
