Wright Wins Hand & Earns Penalty
We had three players in the hand and after the flop the action got confusing. The board showed and the player in the one seat announced all in. Larry Wright was in the seat next to her and verbally announced call without putting any chips in the middle.
As soon as the player in the one seat heard the call she turned over her hand. Wright then also tabled his hand but there was still a player left to act in the five seat. It was realized fairly quickly that the player in the five seat had yet to act and Wright and other player turned their hands back over.
A floorman just happened to be standing near the table and instructed the player in the five seat to act on his hand before any ruling would be made. The player folded but was upset about the situation.
Wright held and the player in the one seat held . The board completed and she was eliminated. The floorman gave Wright a one round penalty for exposing his hand early after dragging the pot. Some at the table protested but the floorman said she would have earned a penalty as well.
