Nghi Van Tran made waves at the WSOP Main Event this past summer with his erratic and aggressive play, and it looks like he has brought that with him to the Lodge Casino. We just caught Tran losing a pot that has him below his starting stack.
Facing two limpers, Tran made it 400 on the button. The small blind came along, as did both the limpers, and we had a four way pot on a flop that read . It was checked to Tran, who fired out 750. The small blind was the lone caller, and the turn brought the .
The small blind checked, and again, Tran quickly fired out a bet, this time of 2,500. His opponent wasn't going anywhere, as he tossed in the call. The river brought the , and the small blind changed things up by firing out a small bet of 1,000. Despite getting great pot odds, Tran smelled something fishy, and sent his hand towards the dealer.
After that pot, Tran has fallen to 16,000.
