David Chiu has claimed the first significant pot of this last table after scooping a pot against Tony Ma and David Benyamine. Chiu is now out in front on 840,000.
As the players were taking their seats Mike Matusow went around the entire table introducing each player to the fans on the rail in a tongue-in-cheek style that only "The Mouth" can deliver. He had no problems until he got around to Eugene Katchalov in seat ten - "This is the only guy who's name I don't even know!"
