With his fourth-place finish in Event #2 earlier this week, Tran has climbed over $1.5 million in tournament earnings. Though he has certainly been successful, Tran is not yet the owner of a WSOP bracelet. His highest finish came last year in the $1,000 rebuy event, where he took second place and nearly $400,000. A win today would be the largest single cash of his poker career. He is certainly the handicapping favorite headed into today's action.
