Two Pair, Two Million
Johnny Lodden has more than 2.0 million in chips after taking a modest pot off of Denis Pisarev. Lodden opened for 50,000 from late position pre-flop, with Pisarev calling from the button. Lodden checked an ace-high flop, , then called a bet of 65,000 from Pisarev.
Both players checked the turn. At the river, Lodden led into Pisarev for 205,000. Pisarev snap-called, but couldn't beat that Lodden tabled for two pair, aces and sevens. Pisarev mucked and fell to about 365,000 in chips.
