Davis Off to a Good Start
We were wandering the tournament floor and noticed Raymond Davis had a healthy stack in front of him.
For those who may not be familiar with Davis, he has 17 cashes at the World Series of Poker totaling $392,769. More than half of those cashes have come in non-no-limit hold��em events, meaning he is a bit of a mixed games aficionado.
While a WSOP bracelet has eluded him thus far, Davis has made two final tables. The first came in 2007 when he placed fourth in the $1,000 S.H.O.E. event for $34,012, while the other was earlier this year in Event #8 $1,500 Omaha Hi-Low Split-8 or Better. While the latter was played as limit, Davis clearly has a knock for )8.
