In the next hand, Wright opened the preflop action with a raise to 450, and drew two callers. The dealer spread for the flop, and Wright continued for 750. One opponent called, but the other folded, and the remaining players saw the turn heads up. It was the , and Wright slowed down. After he checked, his opponent bet 2,000, and Wright called. The river brought the , and Wright checked again. His opponent now bet 6,000, and Wright announced a call, showing for trips. The other player angrily slammed his cards down as he mucked, and Wright took the pot. He’s now up to 75,000 in chips.
