Day 3 of Event #68: $1,000 + 111 The Little One for One Drop No-Limit Hold'em ended with the 14 players still alive and looking to become the next Little One for One Drop champion. The remaining players are guaranteed a minimum cash of $29,490 but all have their sights on the $559,332 top prize and the prestigious gold bracelet.
It��s Christopher Staats who will be returning in pole position tomorrow, Thursday July 12, for Day 4, bagging up a stack of 6,715,000 million in chips.
Staats surged to the top with some late wins,?including a huge double up against Richard Douglas. The pair got all the chips in on the river on an board showing for two a straight. Douglas, holding two pair sixes and fours, called Statts' all-in river shove only to discover the latter had hit the straight holding pocket eights.
Among the big stacks who bagged on Day 3 are also Erwann Pecheux (6,495,000), Richard Cox (5,250,000), Fran?ois Tosques (4,675,000) and Sung Joo Hyun (4,400,000).
