Gonzales Tank-Folds
Level 27
: 60,000/120,000, 0 ante
Stephen Chidwick won the first hand after the dinner break and Ka Kwan Lau scooped a three-way limped pot when he bet the flop.
What followed was a button raise to 250,000 by Robert Mizrachi and Matthew Gonzales came along from the big blind. On the flop, Gonzales checked and called a bet of 125,000 before doing so again for 375,000 on the turn.
Gonzales also checked the river and Mizrachi fired a third barrel for 850,000. That sent Gonzales into the think tank and he even apologized to the other finalists for taking so long. He checked his cards three times and eventually sent them into the muck.
