Andras Nemeth was cruising along with the chip lead just a few hands ago. He is now on the rail in sixth place for $48,868 after doubling up Sandvik and losing the rest on a bad beat to Joao Simao.
Simao opened for 500,000 from the cutoff before he called a jam by Nemeth for 3,197,395.

Despite a huge advantage when the chips went in, Nemeth was unable to hold on with Simao improving to a straight with the rolling out on the board.
Andras Nemeth opened for 420,000 from the hijack. Espen "_sennj_" Sandvik raised to 1,140,000 from the small blind and Nemeth called.
Sandvik fired out for 920,000 on the flop before he checked the turn. Nemeth bet 1,117,500 and Sandvik jammed for 4,167,572. Nemeth snap-called and players turned over their hands.

Both players had trips but Sandvik had the better kicker. Nothing changed on the river and Nemeth doubled Sandvik into the chip lead.
Tom "Jabochi" Shaham opened for 400,000 from under the gun and was called by Roman Hrabec from the big blind.
Hrabec check-called a bet of 787,500 on the flop before checking again on the turn. Shaham bet 1,000,000 before he called a jam by Hrabec to 2,936,829.

Hrabec already had Shaham drawing dead with his flopped straight before he improved to a flush on the river to double-up and leave Shaham short on chips.
Joao Simao began a hand that took about five minutes to play out by opening for 400,000 from under the gun. Ilya "Dezauzer" Yakunin called from the big blind.
Yakunin check-raised the flop from 320,000 to 840,000. Simao three-bet to 1,480,000 and Yakunin called.
Both players checked the turn and Yakunin checked again on the river. Simao bet 760,000 and won the pot after Yakunin folded.
Jinlong "yiliuqi" Hu jammed for 661,394 from the hijack and was called by Andras Nemeth from the button.

The flop gave Hu a huge advantage in the hand. However, the turn followed by the river gave Nemeth a better two-pair to eliminate Hu in seventh place for $36,646. The final six players are guaranteed at least $48,867.
