Shumard Forces Opponent Out of the Pot

Level 10
: Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
On a flop of 8?Q?Q? in a heads up pot, the early position player put out a bet of 3,000. After a short period of consideration, Caleb Shumard decided that 3,500 isn't enough and pushed 8,000 into the middle from the cutoff which was met quickly with call from his opposition.
The 6? prompted a check from the early position player and Shumard quickly and decisively slid enough chips into the pot to put his opponent all in. While he didn't look as though he wanted to forfeit the pot, he eventually relented and tossed his hand into the muck.
