Kamikaze Triple Up
There was a raise from Farhad Jamas in early position that Allen Kessler just called on the button. Sean "Death Mission" Shah then squeezed all-in with his short stack and both Jamas and Kessler got it in as well. Jamas was the covering player and Kessler only had a smidge more than Shah, who was at risk.
At this point Kessler waved PokerNews over, preemptively bemoaning an upcoming bad beat. "This death wish guy is just trying to dust it off!"
Cards were on their backs.
Sean Shah: A?7?10?9?
Allen Kessler: K?K?J?6?
Farhad Jamas: K?K?4?3?
The board ran out, 10?7?3? and this only fueled Kessler's tirade as he said, "Of course he gets there, I knew you were trying to give it away." To this Shah responded, "It's a $1k, Allen, what do you want from me?! I didn't say it was good."
The turn was the 5? and gave Kessler a worse flush draw than Shah. The river bricked a J? and Allen continued, "I had a perfect read on him, that's why I just called the button because I knew this guy couldn't control himself!"
"No, I can't control myself...", said Shah as he stacked the pot.
Kessler remained agitated as he was left with only two big blinds. The rest of the table was rather amused by the situation and continued on jovially.
