Jerry Miller: 2xAx3x/Qx4xKx4x
William Burke: 10x9xAx/3x8x3x5x
Coming in as the shortest stack on Day 3, Miller had to find a spot to try to double up. That spot came on the fourth hand of the day, with a wheel draw on fifth street. But Miller paired a four and got a king and a queen on the end to bust the wheel draw, while Burke put together a nine-eight for the knockout.
"I usually only play the smaller events," said Miller. "But I made a deep run in badugi (35th for $4,018) this year. I might have to play some of these bigger ones now,"
With the knockout, Burke increased his early chip lead.
