Two-Time Bracelet Winner Dan Heimiller Leads Gladiator After Day 1b
Caleb Levesque (3,145,000), has been usurped as the chip leader in Event #20: $300 Gladiators of Poker. Two-time WSOP bracelet winner Dan Heimiller's (3,875,000) Day 1b performance has put him at the top of the leaderboard with two more flights to go.
Heimiller is a prolific player with over $7 million in live cashes from mostly low-to-mid-stakes tournaments. In a deep-field $300 event, he is in his element.
Among the other players who entered and survived Day 1b were bracelet winners Brett Shaffer (1,270,000), Ori Hasson (1,045,000), Men Nguyen (800,000), John Gorsuch (525,000), and Steven Wolansky (90,000). Only 155 players were able to bag chips and advance to Day 2.
There are two more Day 1s to come, with the fields combining into Day 2 at 11 a.m. on June 10. Day 1c starts at 10 a.m. local time on June 8.
