Arieh on the Brink While O'Dell Pads His Stack
A-5 Triple Draw
Josh Arieh opened from the hijack and was called by players in the cutoff and button as well as Frankie O'Dell in the big blind. The button drew one while the other three players took two each.
After the first draw O'Dell bet, Arieh and the cutoff called and the player on the button raised to two bets. All three opponents made the call. O'Dell drew one, Arieh and the cutoff drew two each and the button stood pat.
The player on the button bet when checked to after the second draw. O'Dell called, Arieh folded, leaving just 3,500 behind and the cutoff called. O'Dell and the button stood pat while the player in the cutoff drew two.
With no draws remaining all three remaining players checked. The button had a seven-six-five with 7x6x5x4x3x but O'Dell had him beat with 7x6x4x3x2x for a seven-six-four to take the pot.
