Event #3: $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em Shootout Final Table Set
After a lengthy heads-up battle, Linglin Zeng beat Aditya Agarwal to lock up the last seat at the final table of Event #3: $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em Shootout. The key hand for Zeng was when she made two pairs on the turn which beat Agarwal's top pair on the river to take a huge lead. Despite doubling up once after, Agarwal could not survive a second all-in and was the last player who failed to make the final table.
The day began with 10 five-handed tables where one victor at each table would advance to the final round.
The first player who won their table was Jean Gaspard who amazingly did so while some other tables still had all of their starting players remaining.
Gaspard will be joined at the final table by fellow bracelet winners Taylor Paur and Upeshka De Silva, all of whom are looking for their second bracelet.
Other notables who won their tables were Olivier Busquet and Jan Schwippert.
Some players who failed to advance but took home $6,407 for their efforts included Dominik Nitsche, Barry Greenstein, Andre Akkari,Jean-Robert Bellande, and Matt Glantz.
The final table will take place tomorrow at noon so be sure to follow the updates on PokerNews as a winner will be crowned.
