It took four hands before the first flop was dealt, with some pre-flop stack flexing taking place for the first three.
The first hand saw John Zwaine open the action from under-the-gun plus one to 225,000 and Huss Hassan flat call from the button before Steven Zhou pulled off a big squeeze to 1 million. While Zwaine seemed a little sceptical, shooting a surreptitious sidelong stare Zhou's way, he eventually gave it up, as did Hassan leaving Zhou free to scoop 650,000 unopposed.
The second hand was taken down Edwin Chiu with a pre-flop raise to 175,000 from the hijack, with Huss Hassan doing the same for the third hand.
On the fourth Lior Segre raised it up to 180,000 from under-the-gun and Edwin Chiu three-bet to 475,000 from middle position. The rest of the table folded and Segre tossed in the extras to take play heads-up to a flop of , which Segre check-folded to a Chiu continuation bet of 350,000.
