The banter has really flourished on the far table, with the conversation resting temporarily on last night's H.O.R.S.E champion Sherkhan Farnood. Joe Beevers was regaling his opponents with a tale of how Farnood had once brought a poker book to a big cash game, and later looked down the hand rankings before winning a monstrous 12,000 pot.
But before Beevers was able to complete his "and look at him now" story, he was reraising Donnacha O'Dea's initial raise of 7,000. "I have a rererereraising hand," claimed Joe.
"Could I have that book?" asked Donnacha with a smirk before pushing in his remaining chips.

"Just chop it up," joked Beevers as the dealer almost obliged. But ultimately the board did indeed deal out a split pot, with Donnacha retrieving his chips and remaining a short stack with around 35,000.
