"SabotageZS" Takes Down the Main Event as 888poker ChampionChip Games Conclude

Table Of Contents
The 2025 ChampionChip Games came to a thrilling conclusion on March 25 with the crowning of the Mystery Bounty Main Event champion. When the dust settled on the 888poker tables, Brazil's "SabotageZS" had all the chip in play, earning themselves the title of Main Event champion, and padding their bankroll with $6,577.
The champion didn't walk away with the largest share of the $105,322 prize pool due to the mystery bounty element of the tournament. That honor went to runner-up "lovelydonk" of Finland, who scooped a cool $15,035, partly thanks to capturing the $10,000 jackpot bounty before reaching the final table.

5 | TNARO | Brazil | 3,580,996 | 26 |
6 | Socrat3 | Romania | 3,330,685 | 24 |
7 | FR3E4U | Finland | 3,251,192 | 23 |
8 | YamaaaKK | Brazil | 2,449,316 | 18 |
None of the eighth finalists were particularly short-stacked, with "YammaaKK" starting at the bottom of the pile yet still having 18 big blinds at their disposal. "lovelydonk" sat at the top of the tree with 119 big blinds, "SabotageZS" in second with 72 big blinds, and the rest of the field returning with between 23 and 28 big blind stacks.
Chips were flying all over the place during the opening 35 minutes, but everyone refused to bust. The deadlock was broken when "Socrat3" open-shoved for less than three big blinds from early position with ace-eight, and "FR3E4U" called with six-deuce in the big blind. A deuce on the flop and another on the turn meant Socrat3" was done and dusted in eighth place.
It may have taken 35 minutes for the first elimination, yet the tournament crowned its champion an hour later. First, Denmark's "marauder1801," who had been sat out since the start of play, was blinded out and busted in seventh. Almost immediately after the Dane's demise, "Rei.sagaz888" committed their last 10 big blinds with pocket fives and found themselves flipping against the king-jack of chip leader "lovelydonk." The race only lasted as long as the ace-jack-ace flop.
Fifth place went to "YamaaKK", who can count themselves unlucky with how their tournament ended. "SabotageZS" min-raised under the gun with ace-nine of clubs, and the action folded to "YamaaKK" in the small blind. Down to 10 big blinds, "YamaaKK" three-bet all-in with the dominating ace-queen of hearts, and the initial raiser called. The ace-queen remained best until the river, where it improved to a Broadway straight but also gifted "SabotageZS" a hand-winning flush.
Finland's "FR3E4U" crashed out in fourth at the hands of "SabotageZS." From the button, "SabotageZS" min-raised with queen-ten and "FR3E4U" called with king-seven in the big blind, leaving only 0.7 big blinds behind. They went into the middle on an ace-high flop, and "SabotageZS" called. A queen on the turn left "FR3E4U" drawing to a ten for a straight, but the river bricked, and they were gone.
Three-handed play lasted 20 minutes, ending with "TNARO" heading for the exits. "TNARO" was down to two big blinds during five-handed play, so laddering to third is quite some achievement. Their last actions in the 888poker ChampionChip Mystery Bounty Main Event was to raise over the top of a "SabotageZS" limp, then call off the 11 big blinds they had behind when "SabotageZS" jammed their stack in. It was ace-ten of clubs versus the all-in player's queen-ten of diamonds. An ace on the turn left "TNARO" drawing dead, and heads-up was reached.
"SabotageZS" held a 77.1 big blind to 39.9 big blind advantage over "lovelydonk" going into the heads-up battle. However, the latter had nothing to lose, having collected the $10,000 jackpot mystery bounty on Day 2, meaning they were guaranteed to be the tournament's biggest winner regardless of how this clash played out.
"lovelydonk" clawed their way back into contention before sailing into a massive lead after "SabotageZS" made an ill-timed bluff with queen-high on a four-flushed board. "lovelydonk" had the flush and found themselves with 100 big blinds compared to the 17 big blinds of their opponent.
The stacks drew level when "SabotageZS"'s ace-trey of diamonds held all-in against king-ten before "SabotageZS" put themselves way back in front when their king-five improved to two pair on the river to beat the two pair, made with king-try.
It was all over a few hands later. "lovelydonk" moved all-in for a little under nine big blinds with ten-seven, and "SabotageZS" called with pocket deuces. The five community cards missed "lovelydonk", and they had to settle for a runner-up finish, leaving "SabotageZS" to become the mystery bounty main event champion.
